Being in the process of developing the imagination and discovering the native talents, children of this age need to be involved in creative and playful processes as varied as possible, to offer them a richer range of sensory experiences.
During the 5 meetings, the children will become familiar with both drawing and painting techniques, as well as other plastic techniques such as collage, modeling, sculpture. Starting from the idea of play, exploring different themes and materials, children will learn to be attentive, to observe, to interpret their own experiences artistically and to express themselves through methods other than speech.
Each workshop will be a different visual experience, a new meeting with a material or an artistic technique that they do not have the opportunity to experience in kindergarten or in school. The little ones will learn with the reader how to improvise, how to be spontaneous and how to use their imagination, expressing themselves in an artistic way.
The universe of signs
We become familiar with the primary colors through a game of the imprinted signs, like the first artistic manifestations. We make compositions in which children print signs with the help of their fingers, with the help of natural textures (leaves, flowers, feathers) and with the help of the stamped shapes using the blockprint technique.
Making a self-portrait can be a fun game. We draw visual elements on a special medium, which we then transpose through a graphic technique on paper, by printing.
How do we make a few colorful patches of textile material and various textures in nature a modernist composition? We take leaves, flowers and patches and place them on paper in an artistic way.
The objects around us (ceramics)
Exercise manual skills and educate perception in space. We become familiar with the three dimensions by modeling a clay vessel or bas-relief.
The mystery of hidden forms
We make wonderful carnival masks using the collage technique. We discover contrasts (warm-cold, dark-light, clear-dark, color contrast itself). We decorate objects using different materials.
Each session lasts one hour.
